Privacy Policy for E-Books Gallary

E-Books Gallary (“the App”) is developed and operated by Intent Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, stored, and shared, and the choices available to users.
By using E-Books Gallary, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
- Information You Provide
When you create an account, sign in, or update your profile, we may collect:
Your full name
Email address
Phone number
Address
Profile photo
Authentication and account information
If you use Google Sign-In, Google may provide your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier after you authorize access. We do not receive your Google password. - Books and Reading Information
The App may process information related to your personal library, including:
PDF files you import
Book titles and related file information
Book cover images
Reading position and progress
Bookmarks
Collections and folders
Reader preferences
Highlights, drawings, notes, and other annotations
Imported PDFs and annotations are stored locally on your device by default.
If you are signed in and manually enable cloud synchronization for a book, the selected PDF, cover image, library record, and related reading information may be uploaded to your account through Supabase. Cloud synchronization is optional and is enabled separately for each book. - Information Collected Automatically
When you use online features, we and our service providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as:
IP address
Device and operating-system information
App version
Login and session information
Date and time of access
Error, security, and diagnostic information
Limited activity required to operate synchronized features
The App may record when an account was last active and limited events necessary to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
We do not use the contents of your PDFs, annotations, or search terms for advertising or behavioral profiling. - Device Access and Permissions
The App uses internet access for authentication, account synchronization, catalogue content, cloud storage, and related online features.
The App accesses a PDF or image only after you select it using your device’s file picker. It does not scan unrelated files on your device.
A selected profile photo may be uploaded to Supabase and delivered through an image URL. You should not select a photo that you do not want associated with your account. - How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
Create and authenticate user accounts
Provide email and Google Sign-In
Display and update user profiles
Import, organize, open, and manage e-books
Remember reading progress and preferences
Synchronize content selected by the user
Restore synchronized content on supported devices
Maintain the security and reliability of the App
Diagnose technical problems
Respond to support and account-deletion requests
Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information. - Service Providers
We use third-party providers to operate certain features:
Supabase
Supabase provides account authentication, database services, and optional cloud file storage. Information stored through Supabase may include profile information, account identifiers, synchronized library records, reading progress, settings, profile photos, and PDFs selected for cloud synchronization.
Google
Google processes authentication information when you choose Google Sign-In. Google’s handling of information is governed by its own Privacy Policy.
These providers may process technical information necessary to deliver and secure their services. We do not permit service providers to use your information for our own advertising purposes. - Data Sharing
We may disclose information:
To service providers required to operate the App
When you request or authorize the disclosure
When required by applicable law or a valid legal request
To investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
To protect the rights, property, or safety of users, Intent Studio, or others
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the App, subject to appropriate safeguards
We do not share personal information with third parties for targeted advertising. - Data Retention
Locally stored PDFs, annotations, preferences, and library information remain on your device until you remove them, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App, subject to your operating system’s backup and deletion behavior.
Cloud information is retained while your account remains active or for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.
When an account-deletion request is completed, associated server-side personal information and user-owned cloud content will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law. - Account and Data Deletion
You may edit profile information, remove individual books, disable cloud synchronization, or sign out through the App.
To request deletion of your account and associated server-side information:
Open the App.
Go to Profile.
Select Request account deletion.
Follow the displayed instructions.
You may also use the public account-deletion page or email intentfx@gmail.com.
Deleting your account does not necessarily delete PDFs or other information stored only on your device. You can remove that information from within the App or clear the App’s storage. - Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including authenticated access, encrypted network connections, and database access controls, designed to protect information.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials and devices secure. - Children’s Privacy
E-Books Gallary is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at intentfx@gmail.com so that we can investigate and take appropriate action. - International Data Processing
Intent Studio and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure that information receives appropriate protection. - Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access your personal information
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your information
Restrict or object to certain processing
Request a portable copy of eligible information
Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority
